Ubisoft expands India footprint with Mumbai studio, to add 100 employees

According to the company, will help support the company's global production needs, bolster local expertise and create additional opportunities for local talent

Videogame publisher Ubisoft on Thursday announced it will increase its creative capacities in India with the upcoming opening of Ubisoft Mumbai. The new studio will participate in co-development of AAA games for some of Ubisoft’s biggest franchises. The company might add about 100 new employees to its creative team in the first two years of operation.
 
Ubisoft is already present in Pune and the Mumbai studio, according to the company, will help support the company’s global production needs, bolster local expertise and create additional opportunities for local talent.
