UK retailer Sainsbury gets bid from Qatari group |

J Sainsbury Plc, Britain's third-biggest supermarket group, confirmed it had received a preliminary bid approach from Qatari investment group Delta Two. The company said in a statement today it would make a further announcement, as appropriate, in due course. According to a report by Financial Times, Delta Two has made a 610p a share offer for Sainsbury just three months after the UK retailer rejected a high-profile offer from the private equity group CVC Capital Partners.
