Aditya Birla Group flagship firm Ultratech today reported a 4.26% increase in February cement sales to 33.28 lakh tonne over same month last year.
Production of the key building material also increased by 2.86% during the month to 33.4 lakh tonne during February this year, compared to the same month a year-ago, the company said in a statement.
Ultratech said during the April-February period of the current fiscal, its sales rose by 3.29% to 346.29 lakh tonne, compared to 335.26 lakh tonne in the same period last year.
Cement production also went up by 3.19% during the period to 346.81 lakh tonne against 336.08 lakh tonne during April-February FY10.
