Unity Infra bags Rs 198-cr road project in Rajasthan

Unity Infraprojects today said it has won a Rs 198-crore road project in Rajasthan to be built in 18 months.

"The Public Works Department, Jaipur awarded a project worth Rs 198 crore for two-laning of section from Chomu to Mahal via Renwal, Jobner to Unity Infraprojects on Design, Build, Finance, Operate& Transfer (DBFOT) basis," the company said in a statement.

The concession period of the project is 25 years.

"With the inclusion of this contract, the order book of the company now stands at Rs. 3,860 crore," the civil contractors said.

It added that the company had recently secured two construction orders worth Rs 89.29 crore from the Ministry of Earth Sciences and Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation, Hyderabad for construction of new Buildings.

 

Commenting on the order, Abhijit K Avarsekar, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, Unity Infraprojects said, "We will continually bid for similar projects and endeavour to create high quality infrastructure across the nation within stipulated deadlines."

Unity Infraprojects, flagship unit of the Mumbai-based KK Group of Companies, provides integrated engineering, procurement and construction services for civil construction and infrastructure sector projects.

It said the landmark projects done by it include expansion and modification at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai, Millennium Business Park in Navi Mumbai, housing Projects for DDA in Delhi besides new Secretariat Complex in Assam and Tsunami re-construction Project in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
