United Phosphorus (UPL) today said that it has purchased global non-mixture mancozeb fungicide business and related assets from DuPont, a global products and services company.
The company has not disclosed the financial details of the acquisition. UPL will receive rights to registered brands for non-mixture mancozeb products, trademarks as well as registraions and supporting regulatory data for those products, which include Manzate brand fungicides.
Under the agreement, UPL and its arm can start sell ing Manzate and its formulations immediately.
