The Valuable Group's digital satellite cinema and distance education systems have evoked interest from the US administration.
It is a Mumbai-based company, with operations in the media and entertainment, technology and infrastructure segments.
Peter Dagher, who helped manage the election campaigns of Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, met Group CEO Sanjay Gaikwad to see if its technology could be used in the US for election campaigning and other purposes. Gaikwad told Business Standard: "The meeting was a preliminary one. We made a presentation on the operations of our company and various programmes offered by us."
Valuable corporate communication head, Charuhas Satam, said Dagher was keen to know the application of Valuable Group's programmes in the US. "There is a possibility that the technology used by us in digital satellite cinema and distinct education can be replicated in the US. Dagher also wanted to know how the technology and programmes could be adopted to reach out to a large number of people," he said.
Satam informed that the the group uses a combination of satellite technology and innovative business models to establish new delivery platforms for distribution of entertainment and media.
