US-India CEO forum's infra summit on Oct 29

The US-India CEO Forum, co-chaired by William B Harrison, former chairman & CEO, JP Morgan Chase & Co. and Ratan N Tata, chairman, Tata Sons is organising the India Infrastructure Investment Conference 2007 on October 29, 2007 at the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower in Mumbai.

According to an official release issued today, the conference is expected to present to US firms and investors the investment opportunities in Indian infrastructure and will also provide inputs to the central and state government officials on how to attract US investors.

The conference is also expected to provide an opportunity for networking, sharing of experiences and best practices in infrastructure investment to US firms and leading Indian infrastructure development and financing companies who may serve as potential partners.

The conference will feature Finance Minister P Chidambaram, Montek  Singh  Ahluwalia, deputy chairman, Planning Commission, Henry M Paulson, Jr., US Treasury Secretary,  Allan B Hubbard, director, National Economic Council (US) among senior government representatives at the conference.

Other prominent speakers and panelists from India Inc include, Mukesh Ambani, chairman, Reliance Industries, Tarun Das, chief mentor, Confederation  of India Industry (CII), Rajiv B Lall, MD & CEO, IDFC, GV Sanjay Reddy, vice chairman, GVK Industries, and Vinayak Chatterjee, chairman, Feedback Ventures.
