Speciality steel company, Usha Martin Ltd, today reported a sharp jump in net profit to Rs 30.63 crore for the Q3 period ended December, as compared to Rs 3.57 crore registered in the corresponding period last year.
Usha Martin Managing Director Rajeev Jhawar said the consolidated profit was lower at Rs 25.72 crore during the quarter as the Thailand plant remained non-operational due to flooding and with the company booking a net loss of Rs 8 crore.
