UST Global, a digital technology services company that provides powerful solutions for Global 1000 companies, said today that its delivery centre in Bengaluru has expanded its workforce to over 2,000, making the site its second-largest globally.

The Bengaluru centre commenced the first phase of its operations three years earlier, and has been growing consistently since then, a statement from the company said. The centre has been delivering domestic and global projects across the semiconductor, hi-tech and retail sectors with solutions in engineering services, application development, support & maintenance, testing, validation & verification, and analytics.

“We gained significant traction in the next-generation digital services space, including mobility, cloud, analytics and cyber security while maintaining a steady growth in the traditional services segment which serves many of the top technology brands," Alexander Varghese, chief administrative officer, UST Global, said in the statement.

"We will continue to make significant investments in skilling our employees to meet the rapidly-changing demands of the IT landscape. With the pace at which we are growing, I expect the Bengaluru centre to cross the 3,000-employee mark in the next 8-10 months.”

Sudhansu Panigrahi, centre head for Bengaluru, UST Global, said the growing presence in Bengaluru has been "driven by our capability to respond to customer needs faster while ensuring a focus on quality. A continued focus on innovation and our ability to transform businesses with our globally-recognised ‘design for happiness’ approach gave additional impetus to our scale.”

US-based UST Global has over 9,000 of its 15,000-plus employees across its global delivery centres in India, including Thiruvananthapuram (India headquarters), Kochi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Gurgaon and Pune.
