UTV's thrilling debut, ends Day 1 up 29%

UTV, which issued shares in the just concluded IPO at Rs 130 per share, closed Day 1 on the National Stock Exchange at Rs 167.15 - a gain of Rs 37.15 and a premium of 28.58%.

The stock was listed on the NSE at Rs 150 per share, and touched a high of Rs 175.45.

The counter logged a huge volume of over 1.03 crore shares with a turnover of Rs 175.37 crore on the NSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 165 on the BSE, and touched a high of Rs 175.40 before closing at Rs 168.50 per share - a gain of Rs 38.50 and a premium of 29.61% to the offer price. The counter logged a volume of 52.59 lakh shares.
