V-Mart bullish on UP market

Value retailer V-Mart is bullish on the Uttar Pradesh market, especially the smaller towns in the state. “We have received tremendous response in UP towards our apparel’s line and are confident of good performance in the future,” V-Mart Regional Manager Sandeep Suri said. Currently, the company has 28 outlets in the state, including Lucknow, Kanpur, Saharanpur, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Moradabad, Shahjahanpur and Aligarh. Pan-India, it has 65 stores, which will be ramped up to 100 in near future. V-Mart is more focussed on the northern and western regions of India. It sells clothes, accessories, footwear and more.
