Vaishnavi Gold has lined up Rs 164 crore for its expansion plan during the current financial year. The company has set up a jewellery mall at Kukatpally here and is planning to open two more besides a jewellry manufacturing unit in the city.
M Prakash, chairman and managing director, Vaishnavi Gold, said here on Tuesday, “We are planning to open a two-storey jewellery mall with a built-up area of 3,000 sft at Dilsukhnagar and a five-storey branded jewellery mall (10,000 sft) at Somajiguda in four and nine months respectively.” The two malls would involve an investment of Rs 20 crore and Rs 100 crore respectively. The manufacturing facility on 10,000 sft would be set up with Rs 24 crore and have a capacity of 4 kg of jewellery per day.
