Vasishti Detergents may be merged with HLL

The board of Hindustan Lever will meet on August 11, 2005 to consider a proposal to merge Vasishti Detergents with the company.

According to a release issued by HLL to the BSE today, the board would consider the valuers' recommendation of issuing one share of the company for 10 shares of Vasishti Detergents.
