Vedanta Aluminium Limited (VAL) today submitted its response to the showcause notices of the Union ministry of environment and forests (MoEF) slapped by the ministry on August 31. "We have submitted our response along with all necessary supporting documents to both the show cause notices issued by MoEF.
We can not disclose the content of the reply at this point as the matter is under review by the ministry", Mukesh Kumar, chief operating officer of VAL said after submission of the reply to the MoEF. Once again, Vedanta would like to reiterate that no violations have been done by Vedanta on any account and Vedanta is a law abiding company and has high respect for the law of the land, he informed.
