Veecon unveils GeNext carbon molecular sieves

This technology would have the advantages like lower air consumption leading to lower generation cost, better life of CMS thus lower maintenance cost, simple mechanism, unattended and continuous operation.
 
In town to launch this product and share about the new technology with 80 industry people J K Srivastava, managing director, Veecon-IPA Gastechnik Ltd, said pharmaceutical, steel, electronics, food processing and chemical industry in the region were the target customers.
 
"The new technology will bring to the Indian market better quality of sieves, cost effectiveness and more reliability of the product that is overall improvement in the technology of nitrogen production," said Srivastava.
 
With the raw material requirement of coal and coconut shell for the carbon molecular sieves currently being sourced from China and Philippines Kuraray Chemicals Ltd has plans to procure 2-million coconut shell.
