Ventura (India) Pvt Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of UK-based Next Plc, is to add another 2,000 full-time employees (FTEs) in the next 18 months. |
The customer management outsourcing services provider is to recruit around 100 personnel per month at its Pune centre. |
"We anticipate an increase in business and new contracts from our third party service provider in Mumbai, Intelenet Global Services, and are gearing up to meet the increase in demand," said Anupam Arun, country head. Ventura India. |
Pune is the company's first offshore location outside UK and the company has invested around 10 million sterling pounds at the facility. At present, Ventura employs over 200 FTEs at the facility, which services three major clients of the company. |
The company is planning to expand its presence in the country and it will be setting up two facilities. However, further details of were not divulged. |
Ventura is the second largest outsourcer to India from UK (it had outsourced works over 130 million sterling pounds in 2004) and is also a US Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) accredited company. |
