Venture Tech to be named Sify promoter at float time

 This was revealed in a SEC filing by the company. VT Solutions is a partnership company between C Srinivasa Raju of i-Labs and N Sandeep Reddy, a London based director in Sify.

 It currently holds a stake of 14 per cent in Sify while Satyam is the single largest shareholder with 32 per cent stake.

 Interestingly, the company has not nominated any body as its chairman after B Ramalinga Raju had resigned in December 2002.

 Venture Tech Assets, another investment firm solely owned by Sandeep Reddy, holds another 3 per cent stake in Sify.
