Vertex Acquires 7c & #8217;S Contact Centre In India

Vertex, the business process outsourcing arm of United Utilities Plc, has acquired the UK contact centre operator 7C and its shareholding of 7C India. However the price at which the deal was concluded has not been disclosed.

GE Capital has a strategic investment in 7C India. With this acquisition, around 450 employees of 7C will move to Vertex, the BPO arm of United Utilities.

Of these about 221 are employed in India at its customer management operation centre in New Delhi, while 213 employees are directly employed by 7C UK, according to a company statement.

The deal includes the transfer to Vertex of 7C
