Viacom18 announces new appointments for Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada channels

In an effort to further bolster its play in the regional entertainment space, the network has made key appointments in its Gujarati, Marathi and Kannada channels

To strengthen its creative and content capabilities, broadcast network Viacom18 has made a series of senior-level hires for its Regional TV cluster.

Deepak Rajyadhakshya, who has over years of experience in the broadcast and entertainment industry, has been appointed as head of COLORS Marathi. Two new appointments have been made in COLORS Tamil - Raj Kannan as head, programming and Radha Ramamurthy as head, ideation. Aratrika Bhaumik has been appointed as head, ideation – COLORS Bangla. With 13 years of experience, Bhaumik has worked for more than a decade at Star India at the national as well as regional bases.
