Videocon, GAIL sign deal for exploration

Videocon Industries has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with GAIL India for jointly bidding for petroleum exploration and extraction blocks - domestically and internationally.

According to a release issued by Videocon to the BSE today, the terms of the MoU also include the possibility of setting up a company for operating the blocks the combine may secure in future.
