Videocon International FY-04 net up 27%

Videocon International has posted a 27% rise in net profit at Rs 133.29 crore for the year ended September 30, 2004 as compared to Rs 104.94 crore for the year ended September 30, 2003.

According to a release issued to the BSE, total income has increased 11% from Rs 3604.22 crore in FY-03 as compared to Rs 4011.86 crore for the year ended September 30, 2004.

The Group has posted a net profit of Rs 114.30 crore for the year ended September 30, 2004 as compared to Rs 114.79 crore for the year ended September 30, 2003.

Total Income has increased from Rs 4662.18 crore in FY 03 as compared to Rs 5520.40 crore for the year ended September 30, 2004.

The board has recommended a dividend of 10% i.e. Re 1 per share for consideration & declaration by members at the ensuing Annual General Meeting to be held on March 31, 2005, the release added.
