Average viewership ratings of matches have seen a staggering fall since the India vs Sri Lanka match that ended the country's cricket World Cup campaign.

According to aMap "" an agency that monitors TV viewership "" the average rating of 7.13 for the India-Sri Lanka match fell to 1.85 for the Australia-South Africa match on Saturday.

It plummeted to 0.9 for Sunday's Bermuda vs Bangladesh match, in which a win by Bermuda would have seen India through to the Super Eight stage.

With no India matches, Sony Set Max's market share amongst channels has taken a severe beating.

The channel share was at 17.08 per cent during the India-Bangladesh match and peaked to 18.57 per cent in the India vs Sri Lanka match. It halved to 9.6 per cent during the Australia vs South Africa match.
