Vijay Rangineni named interim CEO of Satyam BPO

Satyam Computer Services, India’s fourth largest consulting and information technology services provider, today announced that Venkatesh Roddam, who heads its business process outsourcing arm, Satyam BPO is resigning his position to pursue other interests. Vijay Rangineni, the unit’s current Chief Operating Officer, will assume the additional responsibilities of CEO until a permanent replacement comes on board. 

“Venkatesh has led Satyam BPO with distinction.  He navigated the organization through a period of rapid change, developed a new strategy for the business, and significantly expanded our footprint in new service offerings,” said Ramalinga Raju, Founder and Chairman, Satyam Computer Services Ltd. “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Venkatesh for his contributions to Satyam’s success and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”

 

Venkatesh Roddam said, “It has been a privilege to lead Satyam BPO for the last three years. I am very proud of Satyam BPO’s growth in the specialty sphere which has created phenomenal value for our customers."
