Vijaya Bank Q1 net rises 53% to Rs 111cr

Vijaya Bank today declared a 53% rise in net profit at Rs 111.35 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 when compared with Rs 72.63 crore for Q1FY07.

According to an official release issued by the bank to the BSE today, its total income increased 39% to Rs 966.75 crore from Rs 695.65 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.
