Vijaya Bank today reported about 22 per cent growth in net profit to Rs 151.8 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2010.
It had net profit of Rs 124.5 crore in the year-ago period.
The bank's total income rose by 9.46 per cent from year-ago period to Rs 1,584.4 crore during October-December, 2010 from Rs 1,447.4 crore in the comparable period of last year, the bank said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The state lender's shares are trading at Rs 94.15, up about 1.51 per cent from the previous close on the BSE.
