VIP forays into leather office bag market

VIP has entered the leather office bags market with a new product, a formal leather range called "Viper", with a good-looking, sleek and functional shape, to target the professionals who believe in leaving an impression wherever they go.

Made from premium-quality genuine leather, the Viper range exudes subtle elegance and sophistication. The range is well-organised and spacious with separate foam-padded laptop compartments, extensive organisers, file compartments and overnight sections in select models. Ergonomically designed shoulder pads and soft handles provide ease of carrying.

Ranging from satchels to briefcases to overnighters, the Viper range of office starts at Rs 2,339 and ends at Rs 3,649 and is available at all the VIP worlds and lounges, a senior official of the company revealed.

The Viper range is positioned in premium segment leather bags and in semi-premium segment, the company has launched another range of office bags called Poison which is stylish sturdy and value-for-money range in PU Leather cloth, with five models of the range been launched in the market, he added.

This new range is competitively priced and will bring down the entry-level price point for PU satchels to as low as Rs 995.

VIP already has a strong presence in the economy segment of polyester-based office bags and it has a family of products with 11 models and is called EXECASE, he claimed adding that it has products in price range of Rs 395 to 900.
