Virinchi Limited, a Hyderabad-based listed IT company, has expanded its footprint into healthcare sector by setting up a 600-bed super specialty hospital in up-market Banjara Hills in the city at an investment of Rs 300 crore.

Vish Kompella, promoter and chairman emeritus of Virinchi Hospitals on Wednesday said the customer centric technology applications, the industry first diagnostic facilities and adoption of new innovations in medical science such as molecular diagnostics and personalised medicine were going to be the hallmark of services at this new facility.

The hospital, which will have specialties in cardiac, ortho, nephro, neuro, emergency, cancer and transplantation, was being equipped with several firsts in Indian healthcare industry such as 15,000 plus biomarker diagnostic lab, full spectrum radiology markers among other equipment.
