Visaka Industries net up 44.5%

Hyderabad-based Visaka Industries reported a 44.5 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 6 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2007, compared with Rs 4.15 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. The company's net sales for the quarter grew 19.15 per cent to Rs 94.37 crore from Rs 79.20 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Nitco Tiles net profit up 71.5%

Nitco Tiles has posted a 71.5 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 12.93 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31 compared with Rs 7.54 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Net sales for the said quarter stood at Rs 125.13 crore, a rise of 52 per cent over Rs 82.14 crore posted in the same period last year.

Ruchi Soya bottom line up 104.78%

Ruchi Soya Industries (RSIL) posted a 104.78 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 27.85 crore in the fourth quarter of FY07 compared with Rs 13.60 crore in the corresponding period last year. Net sales increased by 39.93 per cent to Rs 2,740.12 crore from Rs 1958.27 crore in the corresponding period last year.
