Vishal Mega Mart opens outlet in Jalandhar

With opening its outlet in Jalandhar on Saturday, the Vishal Mega Mart has set a target of more than 100 per cent growth in the current fiscal and has achieved a turnover of Rs 650 crore.
 
"Currently, we have 39 stores in the country including four in Punjab and in the current financial year, the company will open as many as 25 more exclusive stores in the country," Sudarshan Acharya, zonal manager of the company, told reporters here.
 
In Punjab, the company had planned four more stores at Ludhiana, Patiala, Amritsar and Jalandhar, he said adding Phagwara and Panchkula were also in the map list of the company in the near future.
