Vishal Retails to open 2 more outlets

New Delhi-based Vishal Retails Ltd, a chain of Vishal Megamart retail outlets, is planning to open two retail outlets at Nashik.
 
The company will open its first retail outlet in the city tomorrow at Mumbai Naka at an investment of around Rs 8 crore. It is also planning a second retail outlet in the city at Nashik Road, soon.
 
"This will be the company's 47th retail outlet and is spread over 27,000 sft. We have invested around Rs 8 crore in the outlet," sources said.
 
The Nashik Road outlet would be spread over 40,000 sft and would also see an investment of around Rs 8 crore, they added .
 
The retail outlet at Mumbai Naka will have on offer around 7,000 items including garments, households, foods, footwear, home furnishing, toys and games, sports and fitness, cosmetics, gifts and lifestyle. It will also have a restaurant spread over 1,000 sft.
 
"Vishal Retail has its own garment manufacturing facility and directly sells its products to customers through its retail outlets. As there is no distributor or mediator, the products sold in Vishal's retail outlets are affordable," a company official said.
 
Vishal Retails is also planning to expand its business in Maharashtra by opening its retail outlets in Pune, Nagpur, Kolhapur and Solapur.
 
It has a presence in 34 major cities including Delhi, Jalandhar, Dehra Dun, Kolkata, Bangalore, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Goa and Surat.
