Hyderabad-based Vivimed Labs Limited, reported a two-fold increase in net profit to Rs 25.54 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012, as compared to Rs 12.42 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, registering a 105.64 per cent growth.
Net income grew 114.13 per cent during the quarter to Rs 275.82 crore from Rs 128.81 crore in the same period a year ago, according to a company release.
The total expenditure of the company has increased to Rs 236 crore for the quarter from Rs 226.57 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, registering a 4.16 per cent growth.
The company's scrip is currently trading at Rs 352, up 0.67 per cent over the previous close of Rs 349.65.
