VLCC plans 35 new outlets

The New Delhi-based VLCC Health Care Ltd, which operates in the slimming, beauty and fitness domain, is planning to open 35 new outlets (healthcare centres) in major cities across the country by the end of the FY 2007-08.
 
The company, which presently has a turnover of Rs 250 crore, is eyeing the Rs 1,000 crore mark by the end of FY 2009-10.
 
Presently, VLCC has 100 outlets in 48 cities across the country, including 14 in Maharashtra. Its outlets offer a range of slimming and beauty treatments for both men and women, and also retail the company's range of personal care products.
 
Speaking to Business Standard, Vandana Luthra, Founder Chairperson, VLLCC Group, said, "As part of our expansion plan, we are planning to open 35 outlets across the country, including 12 in Maharashtra, in the present fiscal (2007-08)."
 
"The company has registered Rs 250 crore business turnover in FY 2006-07. The company has set a Rs 350 crore business turnover target for FY 2007-08. The company is planning to touch the Rs 1,000 crore mark by FY 2009-10-end," Luthra said.
 
The brand 'VLCC; serves as an umbrella for all its brands "" VLCC Health Care Ltd, VLCC Personal Care, VLCC Workout Factory, VLCC Spa, VLCC Institute, VLCC Retail, VLCC Beauty Zone and VLCC Foundation.
