Vodafone Idea's loss narrows to Rs 6,563 cr in Q4; ARPU improves

Vi registers 7.5% sequential growth in its ARPU at Rs 124 aided by tariff hike in November

Vodafone Idea (Vi) losses narrowed 6.5 per cent to Rs 6,563 crore in Q4 FY2022 on a year-on-year (YoY) basis on the back of revenue growth. In the same period last year, the company had posted a loss of Rs 7022 crore.

On a sequential basis the net loss declined by 9 per cent.

Gross revenue in fourth quarter FY 22 increased by 6.5 per cent on a year on year basis to Rs 10,239 crore boosted by 20 per cent tariff hike while earnings before interest depreciation tax and amortization grew 5.4 per cent to Rs 4649 crore. Operational
