It provides extensive application management and infrastructure support across Volvo's business areas including global dealer business support functions, build up of SAP competence, IT infrastructure and product lifecycle management, the company said. |
Volvo 3P, a business unit within the Volvo Group, will now focus on building India as a base for truck product development aimed at supporting strategic expansion in Asia, while Volvo IT will increase its local sourcing from India as well as support its growing customers business in the country. |
