International communications solutions provider Videsh Sanchar Nigam (VSNL) has posted a net profit of Rs 104 crore in first quarter ended June 30, up 18.2 per cent, compared with Rs 88 crore recorded during the same period of the previous financial year. The Tata group company's total revenues rose 9 per cent to Rs 1,008 crore (Rs 924 crore). EBITDA for the quarter rose 11 per cent to Rs 232.7 crore, VSNL said in a release here today. The results were announced under a standalone basis and under Indian GAAP, it said. |
