VW cars to roll out of Skoda plant by mid-07

German car major Volkswagon will start manufacturing cars in India from mid 2007, by using the manufacturing facility of group company, Skoda at Aurangabad.

The Aurangabad plant will roll out both Skoda and Volkswagon models till the time the proposed plant of the German carmaker at Chakan in Maharashtra, to be built at an investment of Rs 2,400 crore becomes operational, sources said.
