Wadia, trust to sell Mumbai plots through e-auction

The four land parcels measuring around 67,257 square feet in Malad East area in Mumbai are expected to fetch Rs 80-90 crore

Wadia group chairman Nusli Wadia and FE Dinshaw Trust and FE Dinshaw Charities, of which Wadia is an administrator, are selling 1.5 acre land parcels in Malad area of Mumbai.

The four land parcels measuring around 67,257 square feet in Malad East area in Mumbai are expected to fetch Rs 80-90 crore, said property consultants. The plots are auctioned through online process, according to FE Dinshaw Trust/FE Dinshaw Charities in a public notice.

The reasons for the sale of the properties are not known

The estate of FE Dinshaw is believed to be the biggest private land owners in Mumbai with over 2,000 acres of land in Mumbai. The estate is today administered by industrialist Nusli Wadia.
 

Incidentally, Wadias are in legal tussle with Raheja group over properties in Malad, owned by the FE Dinshaw Estate.
