Web Development Company (WDC), the Kolkata-based e-solutions providers, is looking at a turnover of Rs 45 crore for the current fiscal year, on the back of increased hiring expectations from information technology (IT) companies.

Last year, the company registered a turnover of Rs 30 crore.

Harsh Hada, managing director of WDC, said, “We have around 900-odd employees right now with four offices. We are adding two more offices in India to handle the increasing work load.”

Around 80 per cent of the company’s revenues come from IT manpower staffing. Over the last five years, the company has palced over 3,000 people in various companies.

“We have placed around 800-900 people in 2009,” said Hada.
