We believe in strong organic growth: Nilekani

Nandan Nilekani, CEO and president of Infosys Technologies, on Saturday said the company believes in strong organic growth.

Responding to queries relating to a spate of acquisitions being made by its rival companies, Nilekani said acquisitions cannot be a substitute for growth.

"I think that acquisitions are not an end in themselves, but a means to an end. In our case, we would buy companies to enter new market or geographies or to get a new set of consulting capabilities," Nilekani added.
