Webel-Sl Energy to raise Rs 60 cr through QIB

Webel-Sl Energy Systems, manufacturer of solar photo-voltaic cells and modules, today said it will raise Rs 60 crore by private placement of shares with qualified institutional buyers (QIB).     

The shareholders have approved to raise Rs 60 crore by the private placement of shares, Webel-Sl Energy Systems said in a filing to the BSE.     

Further, the shareholders approved to issue Rs 20 lakh convertible warrants, 10 lakh each to a promoter of the company, Tysom Agencies and to a private investor, Khushall Investments Advisory.     

Shares of Webel-Sl Energy Systems were trading at Rs 149.85 on the BSE, up 0.47 per cent from the previous day's close.
