Welspun Guj Stahl Q2 net up 85%, income up 67%

Welspun Gujarat Stahl today reported a 85.08% increase in net profit at Rs 33.5 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2006 when compared with Rs 18.1 crore in Q2FY06.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income increased 66.84% to Rs 674.9 crore from Rs 404.5 crore in Q2FY06.
