'Orion Mall@Gateway', a four-level 6 lakh square feet project to house mall and retail spaces, is coming up at Rajajinagar in west Bangalore. The company has tied up with PVR Cinemas to operate an 11-screen multiplex. |
Brigade Group's managing director M R Jaishankar said this at a press conference to announce instituting an award "� 'Young Achiever 2006' "� in association with Rotary Bangalore Midtown, here on Thursday. |
Jaishankar said: "The group is bullish on tier II cities in Karnataka especially Mysore and Mangalore and we are chalking out our strategies." |
"Since we are already established in Mysore, we have launched five projects to consolidate our position and for a Mangalore entry, we are surveying the city," he added. |
The group has bagged an IT SEZ to be built in Mangalore on 25 acres of land. Brigade Group has unveiled Rs 3,000 crore worth of projects totalling 12 million square feet in Bangalore and Mysore. |
Of this, the group's biggest project is the Rs 1,500 crore mixed-use property development project in north Bangalore called Brigade Gateway, in the Rajajinagar-Malleswaram area. |
The project is to come up on a 40-acre plot (Kirloskar factory land, behind Metro Cash and Carry) and will have a star hotel, a shopping area, hospital, office building, residential complex and a school. |
