Westside opens shop in Jaipur

Westside, the store chain run by the Tata group firm Trent, set up shop in Jaipur on today. With the launch of this store, Westside is now present in 14 cities and has 23 outlets in the country.
 
Announcing the launch, Trent Ltd Chairman Simone Tata said, "Residents here have had exposure to a number of shopping options and we hope to increase this with the superior merchandise, service and the overall international shopping experience that we have to offer."
 
She said the Westside store would be open on all days throughout the year from 10:30 am to 8:30 pm.
 
"The store is spread across 18,000 sq ft. The ground floor caters to women's ethnic wear, cosmetics and accessories while the first floor has women's formal and casual wear and children wear. The second floor showcases men's formal wear and footwear and the household collection," Neeti Chopra, the marketing head of Trent Ltd, said.
 
She said the Westside store offered a collection of the finest quality merchandise from the house of the Tatas.
 
The company has already established 23 Westside departmental stores measuring 15,000- 30,000 sq ft each in Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Nagpur, Indore, Jaipur and Ahmedabad.
 
The Westside stores have several departments to meet the varied shopping needs of customers.
 
These include menswear, women's wear, kid's wear, footwear, cosmetics, perfumes and handbags, household accessories and gifts.
