Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently purchased the popular messaging service, WhatsApp, for a mega 19 billion dollar deal finalized over a weekend at his home.
The uber hot deal between the two companies took years of courtship to reach final stages and it all started with an email from Zuckerberg in the spring of 2012.
According to The Verge, WhatsApp CEO Jan Koum accepted the offer, a day after Valentine's Day at Zuckerberg's home and the two chiefs celebrated by opening up a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Label and hugging one another.
Zuckerberg apparently used the same approach to woo Instagram founder Kevin Systrom, where he agreed the price to buy the service over a weekend at his home, the report added.
