Consumer durables firm Whirlpool of India today reported a decline of 7.66% in its standalone net profit at Rs 37.60 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2015.
The company had posted a standalone net profit of Rs 40.72 crore during the same period of the previous fiscal.
Company's total income from operation also declined 4.16% to Rs 713.55 crore during the July-September quarter as against Rs 744.57 crore in the same period last fiscal, Whirlpool said in a BSE filing.

Its total income from operation during the first half of the current fiscal was up marginally 0.94% to Rs 1,813.82 crore as against Rs 1,796.81 crore in the same period a year ago.
Shares of Whirlpool of India closed at Rs 646.95 per scrip, down 0.64% from previous close on the BSE.
