Whirlpool of India has sold its plastic component manufacturing facility based at Faridabad, Haryana, to Mumbai-based injection moulding firm Bright Brothers Ltd.
The acquisition of the unit raises Bright Brothers' annual polymer processing capacity by 2,000 tonne and is expected to add Rs 21 crore to its turnover in a full year.
Bright Brothers will now supply plastic components to the white goods major, a company release stated.

Bright Brothers' Faridabad factory will manufacture six million units of injection moulded plastic components annually, it added.
