Indians are the second largest sellers on Alibaba: Jack Ma

Says that he is keen to make more investments in India

Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba's chairman Jack Ma said here today that he was inspired and moved by PM Narendra Modi and is keen to make more investments in India. 
 
For the last 15 years, Indians are the second largest  sellers on our e-commerce platform, said Ma.
 
"I was surprised to see so many Chinese buying tea, chocolate from Indian sellers. I am looking to partner with Indian entrepreneurs and build greater technology to help Indian suppliers." 
 
He pointed out that the scope for mutual enagement in technology between India and China was huge and that it could change lives of many small businesses. 
 
 
"I was a teacher earlier and Internet changed my life. Right now is a wonderful time for businesses in India and China to work together," he said. 
 
Ma is expected to attend couple of meetings before he leaves India tonight.
