Wipro bags managed services contract from DEN Networks

Deal size undisclosed; alliance to help DEN customers access real-time efficient services

Wipro, India's third largest information technology (IT) services company, today said it as won a managed services contract from Indian cable distribution company DEN Networks. The company did not disclose the financial details of the contract.

"Through this decade-long alliance, DEN Networks will be able to provide its customers, local cable operators and partners with real-time efficient services, thereby ensuring continuous engagement and zero downtime," Wipro said in a release.

Wipro will also enable DEN Networks to streamline the deployment of its next generation services and provide quicker service activation, accurate rating and billing, and excellent customer service, the release said.

 

"This partnership will enable both the companies to meet the changing needs of the customer, providing them with more choices and market solutions, using a blend of on-board and cloud-based distributed analytics," said Anil K. Jain, senior vice president and business head - global communications at Wipro. "Our user-centric architecture and expertise in the broadband & cable space will help DEN Networks engage with customers at a deeper level."
