IT major Wipro today announced the launch of its co-innovation center in partnership with SAP at Bangalore, to drive innovation based on SAP solutions.
The focus of this partner research center for co-innovation is to drive innovation based on SAP solutions, Wipro said in a release.
It said the research center at Wipro campus here would enable the company to develop use cases and conduct customer-specific demonstrations in cooperation with SAP, as also provide training and building specific competencies around new SAP products.
"The Wipro co-innovation center for SAP solutions is an excellent initiative to help drive collaboration along with SAP that we anticipate will benefit our customers tremendously," Wipro Vice President and Head (Business Application Services) Bhanumurthy B M said.
Wipro will focus on innovating new solutions and use cases for industries, such as utilities, mining, banking, insurance, life sciences, public sector, automotive, consumer goods and retail.
"Strategic partners such as Wipro will help drive the next stage of customer value by delivering SAP HANA-based applications that help meet our customers' challenges head-on," SAP executive board member, Gerhard Oswald said.
To offer an extended center of research for customers globally, Wipro plans to integrate its new Wipro co-innovation center for SAP solutions in Bangalore with Wipro co- innovation centre in Mountain View, California.
