Drug firm Wockhardt today said its net loss widened
To Rs 96.68 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2010, from Rs 54.20 crore in the same period last fiscal.
Net sales of the company in the second quarter stood at Rs 940.07 crore, as against Rs 922.69 crore in the same period last year.
For the half year ended September 30, Wockhardt has posted a net loss of Rs 212.96 crore. Its net loss for the same period last year was Rs 244.07 crore.
Net sales of the company for the six months ended September 30 stood at Rs 1,861.71 crore, as against Rs 1,876.84 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.
Shares of Wockhardt closed at Rs 368.70 on the BSE today, down 3.49 per cent from the previous close.
